Steven E. Marder

Steven is CEO and a co-Founder of Eurekster, Inc. With significant experience in the traditional media, digital media and technology industries and as a serial entrepreneur, Steven has almost two decades of professional experience as a business development/ corporate development executive, venture catalyst, strategic advisor and attorney. Steven co-founded and is on the Board of enterprise search company S.L.I Systems, co-founded and managed the North American operations of multinational Gramercy Venture Advisors, co-founded indie recording company Metropolis Records and was Chairman/CEO/ co-Founder of public company eMemberDirect, Inc./PetPlanet.com. In addition, Steven served in executive roles at global venture catalyst Double Impact, Compton's NewMedia/ Tribune Company and EMI Music. He is a graduate of Columbia College/ Columbia University and St. John's School of Law.

Greg Wilson

Greg is CFO of Eurekster, Inc. and Managing Director at Proficio Group, LLC. At Proficio Group LLC. he has served as acting CFO for more than 35 start-up companies for the last seven years. Greg previously was controller and interim CFO for Micronics Computers, a NASD-listed maker of computer motherboards and video cards that was acquired by Diamond Multimedia. He also spent seven years as Vice President and CFO of Dynamic Isolation Systems, an engineering designer and fabricator of earthquake shock absorbers. He had extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and accounting operations at Gates Corporation, a Fortune 500 private company with numerous foreign and domestic subsidiaries, most notably Learjet. Greg has an MBA in accounting from the University of Colorado, a BS in biological science from Colorado State University and is a CPA.

Tac is VP of Product Development for Eurekster, Inc. Tac has extensive experience in the design and production of web and mobile applications and interfaces, most recently as design team leader for Yahoo! Front page and My Yahoo!, and 8 years previously as a consultant and interface architect at Frog Design and Scient. Clients included Sun Microsystems, HP, Boots UK, and Sunday Telecom in Hong Kong. Tac has a Postgraduate Certificate in Science and Technology Communication, a BS in Engineering, and a BA in Literature from the University of California (Santa Cruz and Berkeley). Britta Meyer

Britta is VP of Marketing for Eurekster, Inc. Britta has extensive experience in developing successful customer acquisition, usage and retention programs, most recently as VP of Marketing and Customer Success at Topica Inc., a SaaS email marketing provider. Previously, Britta served in senior positions at Commerce One, ineed.com, Computer Consultants International, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, and Schluetersche Publishing in Germany. Britta holds a German degree in business administration and a European Business degree from FH Osnabrueck.

Alan Mutter

Chairman, Board of Directors

Alan is the former CEO of three Silicon Valley start-up companies and earlier served as the COO of a national cable television company with more than $200 million in annual sales. Alan began his career as a journalist, rising to top editing positions at the Chicago Sun-Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. In 1988, he joined InterMedia Partners, a start-up that grew through acquisition to become the nation’s 12th largest cable TV system operator. In 1996, he was recruited as CEO by Best Internet Communications, an innovative Internet service provider subsequently acquired by NTT. He later served as chief executive of Instant Objects, a pioneer in online classified advertising and e-commerce, and SealedMedia, the producer of a digital rights management system that eventually was acquired by Oracle. An active independent investor, he has served on the boards of several start-up companies.

Michael Zimmerman

Michael is Principal of Technology Venture Partners (TVP), a Eurekster investor. Michael joined TVP management team in March 2002 from the US. He leads investigation of new investment opportunities and works with a range of existing portfolio companies. He is an entrepreneur-in-residence at Altos Ventures, a software and communications venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. He also oversaw business development and the consumer direct division at iOwn, a venture-backed financial services technology company based in San Francisco. During his tenure, iOwn grew from 9 to 320 people, raised US$100m, filed for an IPO and was ultimately sold to Citibank. He has additional work experience in strategy consulting and investment banking with Bain & Co. and Goldman Sachs. He is Co-founder of VC Connect, a national event series promoting venture capital to entrepreneurs across Australia. He has an Honors degree from Amherst College and an MBA from Stanford University.
